walking w/o pulling up

Harper learned how to stand up and walk in the middle of the floor today. She usually pulls up on something to standing before walking. No need to pull up anymore. No more crawling for my baby girl........... She's also learned how to say "baby" within the last week.

papa's back in the hospital

Papa is back in the hospital. He went in yesterday for severe GI. He was diagnosed with C-Diff again. He has already been on antibiotics to counter this (they cost $358 for one week ) twice, not counting when he contracted it in the hospital. They are talking about putting him on these meds for 6 months. Whatver it takes to get him better though..........you can't put a price on that. My family would certainly appreciate any prayers you can spare.

updates

We're home from vacationing in the TX Hill Country. Unfortunately I'm going to still be MIA for the next few days. Our laptop is broken. It only charges if the cord is plugged in just so and if it happens to budge, it no longer charges. So i have to hold the plug in for it to work. Needless to say, it's going into the shop this afternoon.

On a good note, we had a fabulous trip. We saw a lot of beautiful scenery. We even came home with some sunkissed skin. I'll share some pics when we get our laptop all fixed up.

It was really exciting to take Harper on her 1st vacation since she started walking. She was all over the place! whoohoo Which btw, she no longer crawls. She's been walking more than she crawls for about 3 weeks now.

Speaking of firsts, this was the 1st trip we've taken since P has potty learned. He did wonderful! In fact, we decided since he was doing so well, we even put him in undies at night. Again, it was a huge success! He's in big boy undies all the time now. I'm so proud of both my babes and how quickly they have grasped these gigantic milestones.

Mark celebrated his 38th birthday while we were away. He tried to let it pass going unnoticed, but of course we had a celebration for him.

I'll try to be back as soon as our computer is repaired, but i'm not sure how long that will be. If anyone needs me, plz feel free to call or txt.

updates

The kids are both doing great. Pierce talks a lot. He's very
articulate and has quite a large vocabulary. He surprises us every
day with new stuff. Harper is walking. She took her 1st steps on her
birthday. She is starting to walk more than she crawls now. She can say "night night", and "no no" now. It's amazing how fast they're growing.

Okay, as you all know, I'm a cloth diapering nut. Mark has never really changed a cloth diaper though. He'll take 'em off for baths etc. but has never actually put one on. Tonight after P's bath, I came into his room to tuck him in. Mark was reading to him and guess what?! He had put him in cloth! I was so excited i tackled him with hugs and smooch! I had to tweak it a bit as P had some serious plumber crack (he didn't snap the hip snaps), but, hey it's a start!

"My penis is big"..........is what he said this morning when he was on the potty. Then when ahemm went down, "My penis is little". I love his innocence.

By the way, potty training is going fabulously well. In fact, he's been in big boy undies for about 2 weeks full time. We still put him in a diaper at night, but he is usually dry in the morning. I'm not brave enough to try undies for bedtime yet...........

Harper signed dog and bird for the 1st time today.

Since P is completely PLed whoohoo, I need to do some destashing bawl (who would've ever thought PL would be bittersweet?! heart). I'm also flipping Harper's stash to only G.Ms and a few pockets for outtings. Sadly, my beloved pfs aren't getting much love--and neither are my AIOs. I have way too many coolababies too.
