Papa being discharged today

He pulled through!! I tell ya, this is the PERFECT Chrismtas present!! The internal bleeding has stopped and his lungs are clear. His potassium levels are a lil' off, so they are giving him some mega doses of potassium today before they release him this afternoon. His doctor strongly suggests the need for a valve replacement to help repair his aortic stenosis. However, he thinks that another major open heart surgery (he had quad bipass in 2000) may "do him in". He is supposed to follow up with his cardiologist to medically treat it instead. Thank you all again, from the bottom of my heart, for all of your prayers for him!!
