playdate

We had a playdate with one of P's classmates this am. It went great! His mommy is actually my former mentor teacher at their preschool. He and P are the same age and he has a little sister who is Harper's age. He is having a hard time adjusting to school too, and we thought it'd be a good idea to meet up outside of school. This way, when our boys go to school, they'll have a buddy. It kind of backfired though b/c as we were leaving we said we'll see you at school. To which W shook his head no and Pierce said, "I know, I can just go to his house.". Whoops! Nevertheless, I think this is the start of a new friendship for us all!
